RECENT WORK
CARROLL GARDENS RESIDENCE
Working in collaboration with Blejer Architecture, S8A embarked on a complete transformation of the building. Together, they developed a holistic redesign that restructured the existing layouts and introduced thoughtful architectural interventions. S8A guided the clients through material and fixture selections, and designed bespoke elements to ensure every space functioned—and felt—exactly as intended.

PARK SLOPE TOWNHOUSE
S8A turned a formerly cold, stripped-down garden level is now the warm heart of a family’s Brooklyn townhouse. Inspired by original detailing found on the upper floors, we reintroduced character, created an open custom kitchen, added tailored millwork, and connected the interior more seamlessly to the backyard—transforming 500 square feet into a place that truly lives beautifully.

PARK SLOPE APARTMENT
This Park Slope apartment marks S8As second—and far more extensive—renovation for one of the firm’s earliest New York City clients. In their first collaboration, a light refresh completed over a decade ago, the clients sought a “grown-up” apartment but were working within a modest budget. The new design narrative, however, offered an opportunity to reimagine the home more holistically. Initial budget constraints gave way to a comprehensive vision of minimalist living enriched by an unwavering commitment to material authenticity and craftsmanship.
